Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is a private evaluation conducted by a qualified professional outside of the school district. IEEs can provide additional information about a child's communication, language, literacy, or learning needs and may help families make informed decisions regarding speech and language therapy services, accommodations, and educational programming.
IEEs provide families with an objective, comprehensive assessment conducted by a qualified professional who is not employed by the school district. Parents may seek an IEE when they have concerns about a previous evaluation, need additional information about their child's needs, or want an independent perspective to guide educational planning. Our evaluations provide detailed, evidence-based findings and practical recommendations to help families better understand their child's strengths, challenges, and educational needs.
