Social Communication Therapy
Social communication skills help children navigate conversations, build friendships, understand social situations, and connect with others. Some children may struggle with interpreting social cues, maintaining conversations, understanding perspective-taking, or adjusting their communication based on the situation. Social communication therapy helps children develop the language and interaction skills needed to participate more successfully in social, academic, and community settings.
Through individualized speech therapy, we help children with autism, ADHD, and social communication disorders to improve their awareness of social expectations and how to understand the complex demands of interactions with peers, family, and strangers alike.
